Luzius Cavelti is professor of tax law at the University of Basel. He works in domestic and international tax law and has acted as counsel in a vast number of tax litigation cases before tax administrations and courts in Switzerland. In addition, Luzius is well known for his expertise in M&A, restructuring and corporate finance matters. He frequently provides legal opinions on Swiss and international tax matters. Among other functions, he is editor of the online and open access law journal “Center for Swiss and International Tax Law”.
